Including Learn to Play lessons
Come and make music with friends, even if you are a complete beginner. We have several groups for complete beginners (Learn to Play on various instruments), choirs, musicianship groups and much more, all for children of primary school age. We also have groups for younger members.
These groups are for young instrumentalists who have been playing for a year or so, right up to those fully accomplished and about to leave school! Enjoy playing your instrument in a group with others and explore exciting repertoire and performance opportunities.
A 3/4 part adult mixed choir consisting largely of singers from Riseley and the surrounding N.Beds villages, meeting at 8.45 am on Tuesdays in term time. The clue is in the title! We perform in churches, village halls and garden centres and our repertoire spans pop, classical, jazz and music theatre.
These sessions are mainly attended by home-educated children, and parents join in with some of the sessions. Our teachers provide group lessons and associated instrumental lessons booked through the Beds Music Cooperative. There is plenty of outdoor space and the sessions include games, singing, group projects and much more.
